iPad Use & Replacement Policy

As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure proper use and management of company-owned devices, MS Walker has implemented a new iPad Use & Replacement Policy for all sales representatives. This policy establishes clear expectations for device care, outlines financial responsibilities in the event of loss or damage, and details reporting procedures.

Purpose

This policy outlines expectations and financial responsibilities for sales representatives issued company-owned iPads. The goal is to promote proper care and clarify procedures in the event of loss or damage.

1. Issuance of Equipment

  1. MS Walker will provide each sales representative with a company-owned iPad for use in performing their role.
  2. Devices remain MS Walker property and must be returned upon departure or upon request by management.

2. Responsibility and Use

  1. Employees are expected to take reasonable care of their iPads and keep them always secure.
  2. All devices must be passcode-protected and enrolled in our Mobile Device Management (MDM) system.
  3. Employees are responsible for ensuring that devices remain in their procession and are for MS Walker use only.

3. Loss or Damage Protocol

  1. First Incident (Loss or Irreparable Damage): MS Walker will cover 100% of the replacement cost.
  2. Second Incident: Replacement cost will be split 50/50 between the employee and MS Walker.
  3. Third Incident (or beyond): The employee will be responsible for 100% of the replacement cost.

Note: These incidents are cumulative throughout employment and do not reset annually.

4. Reporting Requirements

  1. Lost or stolen iPads must be reported to IT and the employee’s direct supervisor within 24 hours.
  2. IT will take appropriate remote action via MDM to disable or wipe the device.

This policy went into effect on Monday, October 20th, 2025.  Should you have any questions, please contact IT Support at helpdesk@mswalker.com.

Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining the security and integrity of our company’s devices and data.
