Your Office 365 mailbox has a 100 GB limit. As your mailbox approaches 100 GB's in storage, IT will enable an Online Archive for your mailbox. The Online Archive works as a secondary mailbox associated to your account which has unlimited storage. The Online Archive will maintain your folder structure as it automatically moves emails older than 5 years old into the Online Archive.
The Online Archive will appear in the left hand column under your mailbox when using the Outlook app. Note the mailbox will only show when using Outlook on a computer or on the web; the Online Archive does not currently load in Outlook on iPhone or iPad. If you need to view your Archive while on your iPhone or iPad, you will need to access Outlook in the web by going to https://portal.office.com.
