Booking a Conference Room at MS Walker

Part 1: Viewing the Room Calendar

Step 1: Open Outlook

Step 2: Navigate to your Calendar View 

Step 3: At the top of the screen in the Home tab, click the button that says, “Open Calendar”

Step 4: Then click the option “From Room List”

Step 5: In the window that pops up is a list of all of MS Walker’s Conference Room. Use the search bar on top of the window to search for the room you would like to use.

 

Step 6: After selecting the Room calendar you’d like to view click the OK button. You can now view that calendar in your Outlook calendar view to see what times are available to book the room.

 

 

Part 2: Booking the Conference Room

Step 1: If not already open Outlook

Step 2: Navigate to your Calendar View

Step 3: At the top of the screen in the Home tab, click the button that says, “New Meeting”

Step 4: In the New Meeting Window there will be a “Location” drop down box. From there you can choose a room, If you have previously viewed the room calendar, you can select the conference room you want to book.

  • If you have not viewed the calendar for the conference room, you can click the “Rooms” button next to the drop-down box and view all of the conference rooms available at MS Walker Walker. From there you can select the room you would like to book.

 

Step 5: Finally you can finish creating the meeting.
