Outlook on Windows - How to Report Email as Junk/Phishing

To report an email as Junk or Phishing in Outlook on Windows, click on the email you want to report; in this example, the email with subject Test.  In the top right hand corner, click on Report Message and select Junk or Phishing in the dropdown.

A junk email refers to unsolicited emails from companies or individuals which you do not want to receive in your inbox, however are not phishing.

A phishing refers to emails designed to obtain your personal information. This is done by impersonating popular websites or including malicious links in the body of a message.

 

A box will pop up confirming you want to report the message.  If you do not want to receive this message each time, check the box for "Don't show me this message again."  Click on Report.

The email will be reported to the system and moved into your junk mail folder.
